Description
Tacit provides custom length cables for the Symbol XR400/XR440 and XR480 RFID Reader.
The following connectors must be specified:
- Reverse Polarity TNC to type N male – this supports cable runs between the XR4x0
and an antenna or coupler. Symbol High Performance or other Symbol-supplied antenna.
(NOTE: Does not have to be Symbol)
- Type N male to Type N male – this supports runs between an antenna coupler and
Symbol-supplied antenna. (NOTE: Does not have to be Symbol)
When using custom antenna lengths the customer must recognize that signal attenuation occurs and the following tables may be used as a guide to understand the rate of signal loss:
