Tacit Solutions, as part of their system design process, has built an RFID Engineering Lab. In this laboratory setting Tacit uses samples of the customer's product, thereby quickly and simply locating the optimal placement of RFID tags on cases and pallets of this customer product.
During the pilot and implementation phases of a project, Tacit uses this data as a baseline to compare the best case results to those gained on-site in the operational environment. With this knowledge, Tacit can then rapidly design portals and tunnels containing the necessary attenuation and shielding required for optimal results.
